Description

There is quite a nice Sankey from Eurostat (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/cache/sankey/circular_economy/sankey.html) and we've been in contact with them (ESTAT-CIRCULAR-ECONOMY@ec.europa.eu) to determine if we can use it and how it is licensed. We found out that:

• ESTAT can give us a licence (and make the source code available) or


• ESTAT can decide to make the software available as open source. The source code are then made available on an open source repository.

We don't know if the license would cost anything and generally, we prefer to use open source software, so we've decided to kick-start the process of trying to get it to be open source.

For this, we must let them know that we are still interested and then this requires a formal European Commission decision, which could be a lengthy procedure.
