Description
Anybody is welcome to participate, either by simply adding literature to the list, doing their reviews, or both.
Goal
The goal of the task is for the team working on the multiscale integration to have an overview of the existing proxies, methods, and data used in the downscaling literature.
Scope of the literature review: the priority goes to downscaling methods used to simulate flow and stock data of urban system and island using a simple proxy parameter (GDP, employment distribution, etc.). Those paper should be reviewed first. (Then other paper with more complex techniques and/or aiming other territory scale can be added if their methods are manageable and useful for this project).
Time frame
Weekly Monday calls are useful for discussing the literature review in progress with the team. We aim to a first overview for Monday 28th of June.
task
In the specification document for the Multiscale integration, under Literature Review :
- Add any relevant literature regarding the downscaling approach
- Pick the papers you review by putting your name next to it
- After reviewing the paper, and if interesting, create a heading (lvl3) with the title of the paper, and put the relevant information regarding the paper. For example :
→ type flows and/or stock downscaled, as well as the proxies used
→ description of territory subdivision method (e.g., : country X → NUT3)
→ concise description of the downscaling method
→ description (source, etc) of data used
→ description of validation (if any)
Note that this is part of a larger task : Write a specification for the multi-scale integration.
